Our No Cal Social was held Saturday, Dec 4th at the beautiful property of members Alan and Clarice in Elk Grove. Our traders had a very merry time sharing/collaborating and building relationships. The food from Old Spaghetti Factory was excellent, and members brought their favorite deserts. In addition to Alan and Clarice sharing their home with us, a special thanks goes out to Lydean S, our fearless Social Director! How the ooda loop can help your trading
The Opening Bell session with Jeff B and Rob B has become one of FNL's favorite sessions! One of the biggest areas of improvement for FNL Traders at OB has been developing the OODA Loop skill on various time frames prior to taking a trade.

Bitcoin pullback & Zed Run
The crypto markets have been extra volatile this holiday season! Bitcoin, After reaching $68,000 per coin, pulled back to $43,000 and has since stabilized over the $50,000 mark. The market cap of bitcoin is dropped back under $1 trillion and the BTC market dominance is currently around 40% of the crypto market. Altcoins experienced a likeness in retracement for the most part. FNL Crypto traders were able to whether most of the storm by holding onto solid vetted coins offered by the Coinbase and Kraken U.S. based exchanges.

FNL Zed Run Main Stable is approaching its 400th Podium finish and 150th Win. Three (3) horses qualified for the last tournament and a chance to compete for the $105,000 prize pool. The mid distance horse rankings for the tourney had FNL’s Z5 Szabo Legendary Mare “Way Ahead” set at #8 out of tens of thousands of horses. Way Ahead was able to place 2nd in her quarterfinal heat winning $175. She placed 5th in her semi-final race at the 1800m and did not advance to the 12 horse final. Midnight Noir and Tears Of Gold were unable to place in their respective quarterfinals and neither horse advanced.
